ATONOMU is a future autonomous car brand for the blind and visually impaired. The logo symbolises the beginning of a new journey, from A, as the best way to get from A to B. The function of Braille helps people to interact and engage with the brand. The brand name and tagline in Braille also influences the graphic system, creating tangible, bright colourful dots. The purpose of the vivid colour palette builds awareness on the road for the safety of other pedestrians.
The name ATONOMU is created from the word ‘AUTONOMOUS’ meaning having the freedom to act independently. The loss of the letter ‘U’ from the word auto, highlights the word ‘AT’ expressing location or arrival.
